Learn manners and don’t be arrogant – Pant faces backlash for his reply to Harsha Bhogle
He was alone in the car at the time of the accident.

India’s star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is likely to be out for the entire 2023, according to a report, which includes the Indian Premier League 2023 and the ODI World Cup.

Pant was critically injured in a car crash on December 30 when he was heading to Roorkee to meet his mother. He suffered deep cuts on his forehead and three ligament tears on his knee.

According to a report in ESPNCricinfo, Pant is likely to be sidelined for more than six months which means he will miss the global tournament in India.

While the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to provide an official update on his recovery time period, the selectors and other officials of the apex body are sure that he is out for at least six months.

Rishabh last played for India in a two-match Test series in Bangladesh. He was then dropped for the white-ball matches against Sri Lanka.

“Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of the Indian Premier League and his absence will impact Delhi Capitals,” Sourav Ganguly had confirmed on Tuesday.
