The trio of captain Rohit Sharma, former skipper Virat Kohli and pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah retained their top bracket in the BCCI Central Contracts.
They will be paid INR 7 crore each. While Hardik Pandya has been demoted from Grade A to C, the likes of Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have got Grade B, according to Dainik Jagran. They were in Grade A in the last contracts.
Mohammed Shami, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin are part of Grade A. Kuldeep Yadav hasn’t been retained.
