India’s new bowling star Renuka Singh beat Australia’s Darcie Brown, England’s Alice Capsey and compatriot Yastika Bhatia to become the ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year 2022.

In 29 white-ball matches, she took 40 wickets for the Women in Blue. In one-day internationals, she dismissed 18 batters at an average of 14.88.

Renuka had a tally of 22 scalps in the shortest format of the game. She took wickets at an average of 23.95 and an economy of 6.50.
