India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Saturday took to his official Instagram handle and gave his fans a sneak peek at the new retro jersey that Virat Kohli-led side will be wearing in the upcoming final of the inaugural World Test Championship (WTC) against New Zealand.

Sharing a picture of himself in the new jersey, Jadeja wrote, “Rewind to 90’s #lovingit #india.”

Kohli & Co. are all set to take on Kane Williamson’s men in the much-anticipated final, starting from June 18 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

New Zealand became the first team to qualify for the WTC final and were later joined by India, who secured their berth after defeating England in the last Test of the four-match series at home earlier this year.

Indian players are currently serving the 14-day mandatory quarantine period in Mumbai bio-bubble before leaving for UK.

Notably, Jadeja will have an important role to play in the upcoming tour of England as the Indian team will bank on his all-round brilliance.

The 32-year-old is all set to make a comeback in India’s Test squad after being recovered from his thumb injury which he suffered during the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.

Jadeja had fractured his thumb while batting in the third Test against the Tim Paine-led side at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) earlier this year. Owing to the injury, the all-rounder even missed the entire home Test series against England.
