Former India captain MS Dhoni and Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh were recently seen in action during a charity football match in Mumbai. Dhoni loves playing football and even owns a team in the Indian Super League. Ranveer was seen sharing light moments with the former India skipper. The actor was seen hugging the CSK captain on a couple of occasions and also shared a post for the legendary cricketer on his Instagram story.
A big fan of MSD, Ranveer shared a photo of himself sitting alongside Dhoni and holding his feet as the player gets ready to take the field. Ranveer came up with a heartfelt caption that showed his love and respect for Dhoni.
‘Bade bhai ke charnon mai hamesha’ – Ranveer wrote while sharing the picture of himself and Dhoni.
Dhoni has retired from international cricket but continues to play in the Indian Premier League. The most successful Indian skipper has scored over 17,000 runs across formats and affected 829 dismissals in his international career.
He was last seen in action for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021 before the matches were called off due to the COVID-19 cases in camps of several IPL franchises.
