Rajasthan Royals have been accused of mistreating their net bowlers. They even underpaid them for their services.
Vikrant Gupta, the senior sports journalist, revealed RR paid just INR 50,000 and made them to stay at the academy instead of team hotel.
On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore had a purse of INR 1.5 lakh for every net bowler. They also took good care of them.
“Rajasthan Royals’ net bowlers weren’t allowed to stay with the team. Instead, they stayed in the academy rooms. The Royal Challengers Bangalore gave Rs 1.5 lakh to net bowlers, while at Rajasthan Royals, they were paid a mere Rs 50,000,” he said.
Rajneesh Gurbani, Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Anoop, Karthik, Shubham Yadav, Wihan Lubbe and Evan Jones were associated with the 2008 champions.
