Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Eliminator. “The pitch looks dry and there was dew. We also saw what happened between KKR and SRH. The ball did a bit. It is important to focus on today’s game instead of thinking about our past matches,” Sanju Samson said.
Faf du Plessis would have bowled first as well. “We would have bowled first as well, considering the dry pitch and dew factor. The ball was swinging in the last game over here and we know it could help the bowlers in the first innings. If the ball doesn’t do much, we can go for an aggressive start. We will have to believe in our strengths rather than thinking about the toss,” Faf du Plessis said.
