India star cricketer Prithvi Shaw, who recently was in the news after a group of people attacked him outside a restaurant for denying a selfie, has hogged the internet again after he posted a cryptic message on Instagram which several users believe is directed at his girlfriend.
“Some people will only ‘love you’ as much as they can use you. Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop,” Shaw posted on his Instagram.
In the latest development, hours after Prithvi’s story, his rumoured girlfriend, Nidhhi Tapadiaa, also posted a story on Instagram, where she seemed to reply back to the cricketer’s words in a cryptic manner.
“You can lie to the world, you cannot lie to god. Baba is watching everything,” wrote Niddhi.
The fans speculated about a break-up, and showed their sympathy to Prithvi, who is already dealing with the media in the Sapna Gill case.
The primary suspect in the attack on Shaw was Sapna Gill, who was arrested before being released on bail. Soon after coming out of jail, Sapna filed an FIR against Shaw for outraging her modesty.
On the career front, Prithvi last played for India in 2021 and would look to return to international colours by producing a good IPL season, which begins on March 31.
