Vikas Tokas, who has been a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore under Virat Kohli’s captaincy, was recently assaulted by a police officer. Vikas has lodged a complaint stating that he was punched on his face and could have lost his eye.

The report has been filed at Bhikaji Cama Police station. He has also marked an email to the police headquarter.

“I have written this email to inform the senior officials about the incident that happened with me on January 26, 2022. I am a national-level cricketer who has played in the Indian Premier League. Some of the police personnel misbehaved with and punched me. I could have lost my vision,” he wrote.

He was purchased by RCB for INR 10 lakh in 2016 but failed to make it to the playing XI. The pacer has played 17 first-class and 17 T20 matches so far.
