Aakash Chopra feels India and Australia players are not showing interest in the ongoing ODI series and are only playing because of commitments. He compared the series to the papers set by schools before the board exams.
India will take on Australia in the third and final clash of the three-match series in Rajkot Wednesday. The Men in Blue are leading 2-0.
“Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli back but other players are missing. Hardik pandya has not returned. Shardul Thakur and Shubman Gill will miss the third game. I can’t understand what’s happening. Mitchell Starc came for the press conference so he is likely to get a game,” he said.
“We are close to the World Cup but why these gmaes are being played. From the behaviour of both the teams, it sems they are not interested. It is like the exams set before the board papers. You don’t feel interested,” he added.
