Former Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria feels India should play Suryakumar Yadav in the fourth Test against Australia as he can win the game for his team.
He questioned the performances of the Indian batters in the third Test, in which the hosts lost by 9 wickets.
SKY was dropped after making his debut in the opening Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to include Shreyas Iyer in the Playing XI.
Kaneria feels Yadav can get a chance in the Ahmedabad Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
“Indian batters will have to perform better in the last game of the series. They should consider adding Suryakumar Yadav to Playing XI. He can play sweeps and reverse sweeps, which can be crucial. The management will have to decide on the changes ahead of the contest,” he said.
