Delhi Capitals on Saturday (August 21) became the third franchise to leave for UAE to participate in the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. The franchise took to social media to share a video of the players leaving for UAE.

The Delhi based franchise also shared a pic of senior spinner Amit Mishra, all-rounder Lalit Yadav and Ajay Ratra from the airport.

Shreyas Iyer, the former skipper of DC, has already reached UAE and was recently seen in action in the ICC academy.

The players and the support staff will serve a six-day isolation period and will also be tested on a regular basis.

The likes of Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, Prithvi Shaw, Shimron Hetmyer and few other players will join the franchise after completing commitments.

With 6 wins from 8 matches, Delhi Capitals are first in the points table.
