Former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif is surprised to see Tewatia's resurgance in the tournament.

The Asia continent has produced some top-class cricketers over the decades, and the present players are no less. Hence it is not easy to pick the top two cricketers from Asia. However, former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif named two best players.

Although most fans would expect him to name Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, the veteran picked one bowler from India and one batter from Pakistan.

Kaif feels that while fans talk a lot about batters from India, Jasprit Bumrah has delivered under pressure and has been the main reason behind India’s exceptional performance in away Tests.

‘It is tough, but I like Bumrah. Fans talk about Kohli to Dhoni. They are great players, but Jasprit has delivered the most under pressure. His arrival has helped India win outside the sub-continent,” he said.

When asked about his favorite cricketer from Asia, Kaif picked present Pakistan captain Babar Azam. “Pakistan has got talented players. Babar is there, and I even like Shaheen Afridi. But I would go with Babar. He has been playing well across formats, but he is not appreciated enough for his performances.”
