The PCB hasn’t appointed a new head coach for the Pakistan women’s side after their poor World Cup run. Reports hinted that former pacer Wahab Riaz was in line to join the women’s setup as coach or consultant, but the PCB swiftly shut down those claims.

Mohammad Wasim’s stint as head coach of the women’s team has come to an end, with the PCB choosing to move in a new direction. Reports indicate the board is holding negotiations with foreign coaches to lead the setup moving forward.
