Ramiz Raja PCB pension
Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has slammed Ramiz Raja for signing the PCB's code of conduct.

Since Thursday, Babar Azam-led Pakistan, and the bowlers, in particular, have been doing rounds on the internet for their dismal bowling against England in the first Test at the Rawalpindi stadium.

The Three Lions approached the game with their Bazball philosophy and amassed 506/4 after the end of play on Day 1. They registered the record for the most runs scored in a Test match in one day.

The English batters continued the demolition on a flat pitch, which got brutally trolled on the internet, and England ended their first innings by putting up 657 on the board.

Pakistani bowlers registered several embarrassing records, and one came from the debutant Zahid Mahmood.

Mahmood gave away 235 runs in 33 overs and picked up four wickets. The 34-year-old registered the record for conceding the most runs in a debut Test match.

Reacting to the bowlers leaking runs, PCB Ramiz Raja gave a hilarious response to the upsetting situation.

Raja said, “The only time Pakistani bowlers did not give away 30 runs was during the five-minute break when they took the DRS.”

Raja was also trolled brutally by the fans, who called him out for preparing a poor flat pitch.

  1. Ramiz Raja’s comment on Pakistan’s poor bowling is definitely a hilarious one. It shows his ability to find humor in a difficult situation. However, it is important for the PCB president to also address the concerns raised by fans and critics regarding the pitch conditions and the team’s overall performance. While it’s great to have a light-hearted approach at times, it’s equally important to analyze and work towards improving the team’s performance. I hope the PCB takes note of the criticism and takes necessary steps to address the issues at hand.
