The ACC is yet to reach a conclusion on the Asia Cup row, as PCB is firm on its stance of hosting the continental cup in their nation. However, BCCI secretory and ACC president Jay Shah had cleared that the Indian side would not be travelling to Pakistan due to security issues and that the tournament would move out of Pakistan.
Recently, Najam Sethi spoke to the press, where he revealed that the PCB will make their stand clear on the Asia Cup in the next ICC and ACC meeting. The PCB chairman also hit back at the BCCI and remarked, “Other nations have no issues to come to Pakistan, then why are India fearing to travel to Pakistan.”
Several experts reacted to Sethi’s statements and opined their views on the Asia Cup row. The latest to speak on the same lines and hit back at Najam Sethi is Harbhajan Singh.
The Turbanator supported BCCI’s decision not to travel to Pakistan and stated that Pakistanis are not safe in their own country, why should India take the risk of travelling to Pakistan?
“India should not travel to Pakistan, as their people are not safe in their country, so why should we take the risk of travelling there.”
