Pakistan player Salman Butt feels Indian cricket will suffer after Virat Kohli’s sudden departure as a Test captain. The decision came after India lost a three-match Test series in South Africa.
Butt said that Kohli brought aggression to Indian cricket, which was the only thing missing in the past. He stated that Indian cricket would no longer be the same.
“Things will never be normal. Virat added aggression to the Indian team, which the players lacked in the past. Him not being around will be a huge loss for the national team,” said Butt.
“All is not well within the set-up, so he left. With Ravi Shastri’s departure, he has failed to find a like minded personality in the team and this could be another reason,” he added.
