Pakistan were dethroned from the No.1 rank in ODIs after losing the fifth and final match of the series to New Zealand. The Babar Azam-led team had claimed the top spot after beating the Kiwis in the fourth contest.
The visiting team won the final game by 47 runs which allowed Australia to reclaim the numero uno position.
Notably, the Men in Green took the No. 1 place for the first time in the history of the ICC rankings.
