Mickey Arthur Pakistan new head coach

In a surprising move, the Pakistan Cricket Board is likely to appoint Mickey Arthur as the national team’s online coach till 2024. He will become the first online coach in cricket history.

Saqlain Mushtaq’s tenure with the team ended in January, and the new PCB chairman Najam Sethi wanted Arthur, who had previously worked with the Men in Green.

However, Mickey refused to come on board due to his association with English County Cricket Team Derbyshire.

However, Najam Sethi didn’t give up and has now pursued the experience and famous coach to join the team through online mode.

Babar Azam’s team failed miserably in the home season, with Test defeats coming against Australia and England. They lost the T20I series to England and the ODI series to New Zealand as well.
