The coalition government of Pakistan has decided to sack PCB chairman Ramiz Raja, according to GEO News. The former cricketer was appointed by ex-prime minister Imran Khan.
PM Shahbaz Sharif, who is also the patron-in-chief of PCB, is expected to nominate two names for the Board of Governors for the next chairman of the apex cricket body.
Najam Sethi and Shakil Sheikh are likely to get the nod. “I have been told to continue heading PCB,” Raja told PCB staffers. “We should focus on our work rather than thinking about the consequences,” he added.
