New Zealand are ready to play a series in Pakistan again after they left the country before the first ODI.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has received compensation from New Zealand Cricket (NZC) for cancelling their tour to Pakistan citing a ‘security threat’ last year. They were in Pakistan to play limited-overs series but suddenly left the country and called off their tour just before the first ODI which resulted in losses for the sub-continent country.

NZC has paid compensation for losses, including hotel bookings, security, marketing, and broadcast, among other things. However, the amount hasn’t been disclosed.

New Zealand will now tour Pakistan in December 2022-January 2023 for three one-day internationals and two Tests. These two teams will also be involved in a five-match T20Is and five ODIs schedule to start in April 2023.
