Pakistan cricketers, support staff members have received Pfizer booster vaccines. While captain Babar Azam and opener Imam-ul-Haq received the doses two days back Usman Qadir, Faheem Ashraf, Azhar Ali, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi were vaccinated on January 7.

Pakistan’s COVID-19 positivity ratio exceeded 2% for the first time since October 14 last year. Pakistan reported 1,085 new cases in 24 hours. The remaining national cricketers will also get the booster doses by Friday. The women cricketers and their support staff have already received booster doses.

Pakistan players are currently preparing for the new edition of the Pakistan Super League.
