Pakistan break Kolkata Knight Riders’world record
They stitched a partnership of 203 runs for the opening wicket.

Pakistan, who have been under the pump for the last few matches, showed their class and attacking brand of cricket in T20 cricket.

England had set a target of 200 runs, which looked defendable, but the duo of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan crushed all their hopes, leading the Men in Green to 10 wickets win in 19.3 overs. They stitched a partnership of 203 runs for the opening wicket.

Captian Babar Azam, who failed in the Asia Cup 2022 and the first match against the visitors, accumulated an unbeaten 110 runs off 66 balls, with the help of 11 fours and 5 sixes.

On the other hand, Rizwan hit 88 not out off 51 balls, laced with 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Pakistan are the first team in T20 cricket to successfully chase a target of 200 or more runs without losing a wicket.

The previous highest target chased to complete a ten-wicket win was 184 by Kolkata Knight Riders against Gujarat Lions in 2017.
