Pakistan A defeated India A by 128 runs in the final of the ACC Men’s Emerging Cup. They avenged the group stage thumping at the hands of Men in Blue.
India were never in the game as the rival team went on an attack from the start. Chasing 353 in 50 overs, Yash Dhull’s team was bowled out for 224 runs.
Tayyab Tahir stunned India by slamming 108 runs off 71 balls, laced with 12 fours and a six. Sahibzada Farhan (65) and Saim Ayub (59) added 121 runs for the opening wicket
in 17.2 overs
In reply, Abhishek Sharma tried his best but couldn’t carry on beyond 61. He faced 51 balls and hit 5 fours and a six.
For Pakistan, Sufiyan Muqeem scalped three wickets while Mohammad Wasim, Arshad Iqbal and Mehran Mumtaz two each, respectively.
