Former Aussie spinner Brad Hogg feels old and authoritative Virat Kohli is missing from the game since his sacking from ODI captaincy.

Following team’s Test series defeat in South Africa, the 33-year old stepped down from his leadership role in the longest format of the game.

Hogg stated that Virat lacked aggression and looked shaky on the field after his most recent decision.

“Virat is lost and emotions are not there. He has gone quite and it’s not the Kohli of old who wanted to take authority,” said Hogg.

“When he is not in a leadership role, he doesn’t know how to conduct himself. I think he will continue playing for another 5 years,” he added.
