The 47-year-old made his prediction for the top scorer of ICC World Cup 2023. Kallis has taken England skipper Jos Buttler’s name. Notably, Buttler excelled in the IPL and led England to their 2nd T20 World Cup title in 2022.
“I think Buttler would be the leading run-scorer. I fancy him to do well in those conditions. He would be the one who would stand out from the rest.”
In 165 ODIs, Buttler has amassed 4647 runs, averaging 41.49 with 11 hundreds and 24 fifties. Recently, Eoin Morgan also hailed Buttler, where he remarked that the England skipper is one of the best white-ball talents in the world.
