Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria has showered praise on Ravindra Jadeja for his brilliant all-round skills and described him as India’s most valuable player ahead of the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
According to Kaneria, Jadeja’s ability to score quick runs, bowl match-winning spells at a crucial time and impact run-outs with his pin-point accuracy, makes him a top performer of Virat Kohli-led side.
Calling Ravindra Jadeja a “triple-dimensional player”, the 40-year-old said that he shouldn’t be left out of India’s playing XI for the upcoming finale against Kane Williamson-led New Zealand
“I think bowlers play an important role, irrespective of what format you’re playing. If we talk about Ravindra Jadeja, he is a triple-dimensional player. He is such a player that you just can’t keep him out, he simply has to play,” Kaneria said on his official YouTube channel.
“Jadeja will give you key wickets in key intervals. He will give your runs lower down the order, stitch partnerships, and will even affect a couple of brilliant run-outs while fielding. So, he is going to be the most valuable player in the final for India,” the former Pakistani spinner added.
The upcoming WTC final between India and New Zealand will start on June 18 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
