Chennai Super Kings have confirmed that it has no plans to allow Ravindra Jadeja to leave the franchise ahead of the next season of the Indian Premier League.

Earlier, there were reports of the veteran player looking to part ways with the team after falling out with the management because of the way he was removed from the captaincy midway in IPL 2022.

He even deleted the CSK posts from his social media account, confirming the reports to be true.

However, the Chennai-based franchise has decided to keep the star player. “Ravindra Jadeja is one of the best all-rounders in the world. We have no plans to part ways with Jadeja.”

Jadeja was made CSK skipper before the start of the season as MS Dhoni wanted him to take the legacy forward, but poor results and an ordinary form with the bat forced him to quit the post.
