Team India’s new limited-overs captain Rohit Sharma recently addressed U-19 cricketers at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. The veteran is undergoing rehab after injuring his left hamstring, while the budding cricketers are attending their preparatory camp ahead of the Asia Cup.
Meanwhile, Rohit was ruled out of the Test series in South Africa. He was replaced by Priyank Panchal.
Taking to their Twitter handle, the Board of Control for Cricket in India, shared some pictures from the NCA with the 34-year old interacting with young cricketers.
“Team India white-ball captain Rohit Sharma made most of his rehab time as he addressed India’s U19 team during their preparatory camp at the NCA in Bengaluru,” tweeted BCCI.
