Nepal captain Rohit Paudel has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Scotland in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
Toss Decision – Captain’s Comments & Reasoning
“We will bowl first. We finally won the toss. I think the wicket has been been difficulkt for the batters, and the ones who spent time in the middle can capitalize on it. Hopefully, our bowlers will make full use of it,” Rohit Paudel said.
Scotland skipper Richie Berrington failed to win the toss in his team’s four matches in the global tournament. He would have bowled first had the toss gone in his favour.
“We would have bowled first. The wicket looks good, and we will have to adapt well. We have given good performances in the tournament. There are some areas where improvement is needed,” he said.
