On 21 February 2020, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell had announced his engagement to Indian-origin pharmacist Vini Raman. On Sunday, Maxwell took to Instagram to recall “the bravest lunge a person can do.”

Sharing the picture that he had used to announce his engagement again, Maxwell wrote, “1 year since I did the bravest lunge a person can do. Love you @vini.raman and can’t wait to get old and lazy with you.”

While Vini herself came up with an adorable response, it was Maxwell’s former Indian Premier League (IPL) teammate Jimmy Neesham, who turned heads on social media.

Neesham, who is known for his sense of humor, wrote: “You’re not old and lazy yet?”

” You’re actually not that bad,” Vini Raman replied, with a kiss emoji. “@gmaxi_32 love you xxx,” she added.

This is not the first time when Neesham has gatecrashed Maxwell and Vini’s initimate moment. Vini, while wishing Maxwell on his birthday last year, had shared a quirky post.

“Happy birthday @gmaxi_32 aka my favourite fiance aka my only fiance aka BEST fiance ever. ps. i love you more than @jimmyneesham does,” she had written.

Notably, Australia is currently in New Zealand for a five-match T20I series. In the first T20I, New Zealand defeated Australia by 53 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Batting first, the hosts stitched a total of 184/5, thanks to Devon Conway’s unbeaten knock of 99. In reply, the visitors were bowled out for 131 as Ish Sodhi bagged four wickets.

Despite a disappointing IPL 2020 campaign with KXIP (now Punjab Kings), Maxwell was bought by RCB for a whopping 14.25 crore ahead of this year’s edition in the auction on Thursday. Neesham, on the other hand, was roped in by defending champions, Mumbai Indians after being released by Punjab Kings.
