Gunmen fired at the gate of the Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah’s ancestral home, but the player stayed back with the team for the first ODI against Sri Lanka. Nobody was harmed in the firing incident.

“Naseem and his family members now stay in Islamabad, but his relatives are still in Lower Dir,” the source said.
The right-arm pacer was given assurance about the investigation.
“Naseem has decided to remain with the squad and play for the country,” the source added.
