Shahid Afridi has confirmed that his daughter was waving the Indian flag during the Super 4 stage match.

Former Pakistan player Shahid Afridi has left the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 due to lower back injury. The veteran took to social media to inform his fans about his current status and the reason behind his decision.

According to him, he has been experiencing pain in his lower back for 15 years but it has now started impacting other parts of his body.

Shahid was playing for Quetta Gladiators and wanted to complete the season in his last appearance, but an unfortunate injury forced him to leave the competition.

He will be under rehab for three months before playing in the KPL and other T20 competitions.

“I am unable to handle the pain and it is best for me to leave the PSL midway as health is everything. I am experiencing this issue for the last 15 years but it has now spread to other parts of the body. I am thankful to the owner of the Quetta Gladiators for trusting in me. Just keep me in your prayers and I will be back on the field after recovering, ” he said.
