Delhi Capitals skipper Jemimah Rodrigues has won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Mumbai Indians in match 13 of the Women’s Premier League 2026.
Toss Decision – Captain’s Comments & Reasoning
“We would like to bowl first. The ball skids a lot under lights, and dew will help us. The batter will have to play straight, and the bowlers will have to bowl the wicket line. We will have to keep things simple,” Jemimah Rodrigues said.
Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur would have bowled first as well.
“We would have bowled first because of the conditions. We have a couple of good days and had a conversation regarding our performances. Hopefully, we will comeback stronger,” she said.
