England pacer Kate Cross returned to the cricket field after two months. She was a part of the first ODI against India. She is a big fan of Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni and follows the franchise when the IPL is underway.
Speaking to timesnownews.com, Cross spoke about the former India captain and revealed that MSD is on her TV screen for most of the cash-rich league.
“The IPL is something I always watch because of MS Dhoni. He is on my TV screen for most of the start of the season here. It shows that he is accessible for any cricket fan to watch,” Cross said.
Despite announcing his retirement from international cricket, Dhoni is active in IPL.
Cross went on to laud Dhoni for his contribution to cricket. “He has inspired a lot of cricketers, including female Indian players. Dhoni is the reason one wants to play the sport. Cricket is all about adding people to the sport, and Dhoni has done it back in India,” she added.
