New Zealand all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme has evaluated some of the unique hairstyles of past and present cricketers.
De Grandhomme’s mullet hairstyle has become the talking point on social media as the 34-year-old impressed many fans with his different looks.
In a video recently shared by ICC’s official Twitter handle, the experienced player was asked to rate creative hairstyles sported by various players.
De Grandhomme gave Ishant Sharma’s long hair 6 out of 10 and pointed out that the veteran Indian pacer has done a tough job to grow them.
While Hardik Pandya’s gangster look earned 9 out of 10, the Kiwi cricketer described MS Dhoni’s hairstyle as the perfect one.
Dhoni’s rugged, long-haired look from his early days in international cricket got 10 out 10 from Colin de Grandhomme.
Praising former India captain’s unique hairstyle, the Zimbabwe-born player said, “It’s pretty straight. It looks a lot cleaner and nicer than mine. That’s the perfect hairstyle. 10 probably.”
Apart from MS Dhoni, Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga’s quirky hairstyle also received full marks from the New Zealand star.
Sharing the fun video on Twitter, International Cricket Council (ICC) wrote, “Long locks? Short locks? Coloured? Straightened? Watch Colin ‘mullet’ de Grandhomme evaluate some interesting hairstyles #WTC21 | #INDvNZ.”
