Roaring in celebration, Mohammed Siraj removed the off stump he had just clattered and wheeled around the outfield in delight at the home of cricket.

Virat Kohli, the winning captain, was just as animated as he punched the air and pumped his fists amid his victory dance.

A fired-up India team sure enjoyed this rare win at Lord’s. Siraj took eights wickets in the match and he should have been rewarded with the Man of the Match trophy. But the award went to KL Rahul who scored a sublime hundred in the first innings of the second Test match.

Former Pakistan cricketer Salman Butt praised the Indian pacer for his match-winning bowling. Despite the presence of Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah, Siraj was the best bowler in the Test match.

“Mohammed Siraj came in and gave it his all. He has a different expression on his face. As an opposition batsman when you look at him, you have to be very good, or rather outstanding, to find it easy against him. It always seems like he will make an impact, whether it is at the start of the innings or towards the end. According to me, in Test cricket, this aggression helps a lot and works,” said Butt on his YouTube channel.

Butt feels that Bumrah is a cool character. “Siraj has a different attitude and a different output. He adds a different flavour to this Indian attack. No other Indian bowler has such aggression in his body language. Bumrah’s body language and attitude are more like a batsman. He is very calm and cool. Very rarely does he get aggressive,” the Pakistani opined.
