Overview:
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has submitted a second formal letter to the ICC, expressing concerns about the safety of traveling to India for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Afghanistan veteran Mohammad Nabi lost his cool when a Bangladesh reporter questioned him about the controversy surrounding Mustafizur Rahman and KKR in the IPL.
The exchange unfolded after the Bangladesh Premier League clash between Noakhali Express and Dhaka Capitals, where Nabi plays alongside his son, Hassan Eisakhil. The seasoned Afghanistan all-rounder grew visibly frustrated when a reporter asked about Mustafizur, a topic Nabi deemed irrelevant to him.
Nabi reacted firmly, making it clear he had no interest in weighing in on the controversy or taking sides.
“Iska mere se kya lena dena bhai. Mera Mustafizur se kya kaam hai? Politics me kya kaam hai mera? (How am I involved in this? What does Mustafizur have to do with me? I stay out of politics. He’s a good bowler, yes, but this line of questioning isn’t relevant to me),” Nabi said.
Respect for Nabi & Afghanistan +9999 📈
