BAN vs IND
He said the team would have to score 280-300 to beat India.

Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz reckoned that batters will have to bat smartly in the upcoming ODI series against India. He said the team would have to score 280-300 to beat India.

Mehidy was of the opinion that scores of 250-260 aren’t safe anymore as the batters are dominating the game.

“We need 280 to 300 runs for the bowlers to defend. We have been performing well in one-day internationals and scored above 300 as well. Scores of 250-260 aren’t safe; you have to score above that to win a game. The top batters will have to take responsibility and make sure we reach 300,” Mehidy said in BDcrictime Bangla.

He also added that players must show a lot of mental strength while facing the Men in Blue in white-ball cricket.

“I love challenges. We will have to be strong against India and if we can improve our game, we will be successful,” he added.

India and Bangladesh will play three ODIs on December 4, 7, and 10 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
