Rohit Sharma was present at the Wankhede Stadium when India defeated England in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. The former captain, who is the ambassador of the ongoing global tournament, met with the players of both teams.
Rohit was seen enjoying his conversation with Suryakumar Yadav, Mohammad Siraj and Ishan Kishan before shifting his focus towards the England dugout. Former players Eoin Morgan and Brendon McCullum were surprised to see Rohit’s transformation. Rohit has lost 10 kilos and is targeting the 2027 ODI World Cup.
“You are in shape. What’s happening?” Morgan asked. “Just chilling,” Rohit replied. However, it was McCullum’s remark that stole the show. “Where is the rest of you?” he said. “It is gone,” Rohit replied.
Rohit was backing India to win the match, and he even conveyed this to Suryakumar.
