Suryakumar Yadav has been one of India’s star performers in the ICC T20 World Cup.

The Men in Blue beat Australia by six runs to win their first warm-up match ahead of the all-important ICC T20 World Cup campaign opener against Pakistan on October 23.

Indian openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma stitched a 78-run stand, and the team’s star player Suryakumar Yadav put on an entertaining show with the bat with another fifty.

The 32-year-old scored 50 off 33 balls before mistiming a shot off Kane Richardson’s delivery in the final over to give an easy catch to the seamer.

A video is doing rounds on the internet, where the stump mic recorded SKY’s conversation with Axar Patel.

To everyone’s surprise, SKY said he was not in the mood to hit the ball and, interestingly, got out on the next ball.

Surya’s fifty helped India put 186 on the board. In reply, Australia’s batting order dominated India’s bowling unit and was cruising towards a win.

The Kangaroos required 11 to win off the final over when skipper Rohit Sharma gave Mohammad Shami his first over of the match.

The right-hand seamer shifted the course of the match and picked four wickets in four balls to stun baggy greens.
