Lucknow’s bowling coach, Morne Morkel, had reported that Mayank is fit and available for the match against MI at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow on April 30, Tuesday. Mayank had missed LSG’s last 5 games and fans will eagerly anticipate his return to the side.
The official social media handle of the LSG franchise posted a special video of Mayank roaring on the popular Vikram Vedha soundtrack “Karuppu Vellai.” The video’s caption included a timer emoji.
The clock may be ticking for fast bowler Mayank’s return. The dynamic pacer made headlines with his fiery speed in his debut against PBKS. In his first match, Mayank claimed 3 wickets and the Player of the Match award. However, it was his sheer pace that captivated everyone. Mayank consistently surpassed 150 kmph in his 4 overs, showcasing his explosive talent.
He has clocked 156.7 kmph in the ongoing season. Yadav took 3 wickets against RCB, earning him back-to-back Player of the Match awards.
During the match against GT, the LSG pacer managed to bowl just one over before injuring himself. In that sole over, he conceded 13 runs.
