India were undone by South Africa in the second Test match of the series. After winning the first match, India were expected to go all out against the Proteas, but the lack of steam in the batting and bowling departments came back to haunt the number one side in the world.
Former India cricketer Saba Karim feels India lack intensity and unity. “The biggest challenge for Rahul Dravid would be to end the spell of ups and downs. In one Test we play with full intensity but in the next one we lack energy and unity,” he said.
“We play one Test as a superpower but in the next we lose our focus which result in our defeat. To win a series, you must show intensity throughout the matches,” he added.
Saba Karim also opined that Rahul Dravid and the team management will have to take a big call on the performance of the batters.
