Kuldeep Yadav
Aakash Chopra shared his thoughts that spinners like Kuldeep Yadav could alter the game on dead wickets

Kuldeep Yadav bowled well against New Zealand A and took a hat-trick in the second ODI of a three-match series. He dismissed Logan van Beek, Joe Walker and Jacob Duffy to complete the milestone.

Kuldeep took 4 wickets and conceded 51 runs in 10 overs as the Kiwis were bowled out for 219 in 47 overs. Rishi Dhawan and Rahul Chahar dismissed two batters each, while Umran Malik and Raj Bawa added one wicket each to their bowling figures.

For New Zealand, Joe Carter (72) and Rachin Ravindra (61) were the main contributors.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep has failed to cement his place in the national team in the last few years due to poor form and injuries. However, he was impressive for Delhi Capitals, his new franchise in the Indian Premier League.

Yadav was recalled to the Indian team, but Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and Axar Patel have been preferred over him.
