India all-rounder Krunal Pandya on Tuesday took to his official Twitter handle and shared some adorable pictures with his nephew Agastya. In the photos, Krunal can be seen spending quality time with the little one.
Captioning the post, Krunal wrote, “Here’s Agastya to bring a smile to your face this morning. Miss this little ball of sunshine.”
Krunal and his younger brother Hardik are currently gearing up for the upcoming limited-overs series against Sri Lanka which is set to start from July 13.
Both the Mumbai Indians stalwarts were last seen in action during the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League before it was suspended due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases inside the bio-bubble.
Prior to the suspension of the league, Krunal notched up 100 runs in 7 games and scalped three wickets while Hardik scored just 52 runs at a mediocre strike rate of 118.18.
Meanwhile, the Shikhar Dhawan-led side will play three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals against the Lankans in Colombo. All the matches are scheduled to take place at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.
Ahead of the series, skipper Dhawan and vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar took on each other in the intra-squad practice match at the SSC ground.
