Team India on Tuesday handed debut ODI caps to Krunal Pandya and Prasidh Krishna ahead of the start of the ODI series against England in Pune. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav returns to the playing XI after missing the entire T20I series.

Hardik Pandya handed the cap to his older brother Krunal. The senior Pandya seemed to be emotional and pointed to cap to the sky, remembering his late father. As for Prasidh Krishna, it was his Karnataka team-mate, KL Rahul, who did the honours.

Talking about the first ODI, Virat Kohli lost the lost and the English side chose to bowl first. As far as England are concerned, Sam Billings, Moeen Ali and Tom Curran were added to the playing XI.

India playing XI: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (C), Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wk), Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Shardul Thakur, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna.

England playing XI: Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler (wk), Ben Stokes, Eoin Morgan (C), Sam Billings, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Adil Rashid, and Mark Wood.
