In a major development, Alex Hales, who was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 1.5 crore, has left the ongoing Pakistan Super League midway due to personal reasons.
The right-handed explosive batter was representing Islamabad United in the seventh season of the tournament.
Confirming the news, the team management said he left the league due to personal reasons.
“We wish him very best of luck for his future,” the franchise’s management said.
A source confirmed to Geo News that Hales pulled out of PSL due to bio-bubble fatigue.
In seven games for Islamabad United, he scored 255 runs at an average of 42.50, smashing two half-centuries.
