Legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev provided a solution to struggling Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Both Rohit and Kohli have found batting difficult in recent times, and the two were below-par in the Test series against New Zealand and Australia.
Kapil Dev said that they should talk to Sunil Gavaskar and Rahul Dravid about solving their batting issues. He also urged them to watch videos of their impressive innings of the past.
“When batters are not in form, many problems come up. The best solution is to talk to players with a similar mindset and playing style. You should watch your videos to analyse how you used to score runs in your prime. You can’t become a 22 or 25-year-old Kohli or Rohit again, but watching your best knocks can help you,” Kapil Dev said on Cricket Adda.
“Cricket is about confidence but that doesn’t mean they can’t return to form. They need to talk to Sunil Gavaskar and Rahul Dravid,” Kapil Dev added.
Rohit scored a century in the second ODI against England at the Barabati Stadium. He accumulated 119 runs off 90 balls, 12 fours, and 7 sixes, as India won the match by four wickets.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli failed to score big and was dismissed by Adil Rashid. With one match remaining before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Kohli needs runs.
