The day finally arrived when Pakistan defeated India in an ICC T20 World Cup match. After facing humiliation for years, the Men in Green tasted maiden victory against the arch-rivals. Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar took to Twitter to troll veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, who recently had a verbal slugfest with the legendary bowler on Twitter.
Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan scored well-compiled fifties to lead them to victory by 10 wickets. While Rizwan accumulated an unbeaten 79 runs, skipper Babar hit 68 not-out.
Earlier, Shaheen Afridi was instrumental in restricting India to 151 runs in 20 overs. He took wickets of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul at the start of the innings to keep the Men in Blue on backfoot.
He returned back to get rid of Virat Kohli, who scored 57 runs. The pacer took three wickets and was declared the Man of the Match for his efforts.
