Amid all the controversy in these two days, a fresh video has been doing rounds on the internet, where Jonny Bairstow shook hands with Pat Cummins in the post-match ritual. In the video, Jonny gave a death stare to the Australian skipper, and even the commentator remarked, “Here is that handshake, take a look…if only looks could kill.”
After the video went viral, the fans mentioned Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir in the comment section. Notably, the two had an altercation during the post-match handshake after RCB’s win over LSG in the recently concluded IPL season.
After the game, Cummins made it clear that Australia would resort to such measures in the upcoming games if needed. The 3rd Test would commence on July 6 at Headingley, Leeds.
